White florals, notes of crunchy unripe stone fruits, carambola play against almond liqueur and some more complexing savoury notes. The palate has precise linear acidity and absolutely sits in that long, minerally, fine cool climate modern Australian Chardonnay style.

“Mid-straw, very youthful in the glass. Really complex aromas of struck match, grapefruit pith, green melon, nectarine, grilled nuts and mineral. The palate has lovely weight, focus and mouth-feel with a very pure drive of white stone fruit, citrus and nuttiness. “The 2022 Chardonnay has taken a little bit of time to open up, but it was worth the wait. Crushed nuts, salted peach and layers of curry leaves litter the aromatics, while the palate is stained with juniper, white flowers, jasmine tea, stewed apples and bread crust. A lithe, distinct little thing. Persistent through the finish, the flavor is a gentle nudge to the memory after the wine has gone. Lovely beyond. There's something about this wine that piques the curiosity, and I enjoy that evocation. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.” Awarded 94 points by Erin Larkin for Robert Parker, Wine Advocate.
